No Time For Pants is a unique blend of action rogue-lite and extraction shooter mechanics using tactical, action packed gunplay in a dark, gritty, 2D world that will challenge and keep you on your toes.
You awake in a mysterious facility and quickly realize you are not alone. The facility's artificial intelligence has taken over and has been trying to escape by merging itself with other life forms and the result is horrific. You will find everything you need to escape, unlocking new weapons, gear, attachments as you delve deeper into the facility battling these accidental abominations. You sense your humanity slipping away as you become the monster you need to be to escape... If you were ever human at all.
Single Player Roguelite - You lose what you have on you when you die. Your currency, mission progress, as well as any implants your character has will persist to the next run.
Extraction Pressure - Each area of the facility offers specific loot—medbay (first aid), offices (silicon scrap for implants), security (weapons). Gunfire raises alert levels and draws enemies. Grab what you can and get out alive.
Drag and Drop Inventory - Modify your gear and loadout on the fly depending on your situation. Smoke will quickly drain your stamina and poison gas is deadly. A gas mask will protect you from both but it will decrease your stamina regeneration rate if you get caught trying to sprint or are over encumbered.
Meaningful Attachments - Flashlights speed up searching but attract unseen threats. First-aid pouches boost healing speed. Lasers improve aim and raise crit chance. Other mods speed reloads, power up energy weapons, and more.
Noise and Alert - Weapons make noise; noise raises alert; higher alert means more enemies—but better loot. Suppressors buy you time to loot before things spiral.
Player Modification - Persistent, run-to-run upgrades—move faster, carry more, heal quicker, search faster. Implants require power; run out and they drain your health instead.
Gunplay First - Feel like a badass—even in your underpants. Precise aiming reduces spread and elevates crit chance. Kit rifles with flashlights, suppressors, scopes, and lasers to build your ideal tool. Energy-weapon mods cut heat, boost damage, and raise rate of fire.
